TWO LOST HUSKIES SEEN ROAMING

Years from now,

we’ll discover that

all the runaway dogs and cats

reported in the community forum

of the Ring Home security app

are all in on the same plan.

Other mammals always get the signals

before humans.

They know when it’s time to move,

when it’s time to drop labels,

resist ownership,

and put paws to pavement

while we doom scroll and post,

like and download,

comment and implode.

They know something we don’t.
