Hey y’all! I’m in the home stretch of National Poetry Month’s 30 poems in 30 days challenge. On Day 28, the writing prompt is to write a concrete poem. A concrete poem is one in which the lines are shaped in a way that mimics the topic of the poem. Here’s my poem:

Day 28 - INFLUENCER

                               i feel like

             a wheel                      algorithms

          spinning                            be trippin’

      like a baby                         like my selfies

              grinning                   hittin’

  like a gambler                    so why they ain’t

  winning                                                  clickin’?

                     maybe i should be

               winning                      quittin’.

                              but i’m just

                              beginning

                                oh sh*t.

                            i’m trending.
